1. Scope of Services

CHERRY PROGRAMMING LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates under the trading name CherryDomains.co.uk and provides domain name registration and marketing services. By using our services, you (“the client”, “you”) agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

2. Domain Registration Terms

  • Initial Registration:
    Domain names are registered for a default period of one (1) year, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • No Guarantee of Availability:
    Submission of a registration request does not guarantee success. A domain is not considered registered until we provide written confirmation.
  • Responsibility as a Registrant:
    You are responsible for the registration and renewal of the domain. You are responsible to comply with the terms of service of Nominet.

Payment

  •  No Credit:
    All Services must be paid in full and in advanced.
  • Non-Payments:
    If for any reason your domain is active before payment, you must make payment within 7 days or the account and associated services will be deleted.

3. Renewal and Maintenance

  • Renewal Responsibility:
    While we will issue renewal reminders up to 30 days prior to expiry, ultimate responsibility for renewal rests with the registrant.
  • Failure to Renew:
    We are not liable for expired domains due to missed renewal, incorrect contact details, or non-payment.
  • Payment:
    Payment must be made for renewal to take place and will be highlighted in our contact with you
  • Transferring Domain From Us:
    We do not charge any fees to transfer a domain away from our company, email [email protected] to start the process.
  • Making Changes to your Domain:
    We will not charge for basic DNS modifications such as nameserver updates or tag changes. 
  • Reactivation:
    We reserve the right to charge a £25 admin fee should we need to reactivate your account after deletion or suspension.
  • Unpaid Balances:
    Domains can be released to another TAG until outstanding fees have been paid.

4. Pricing, Cancellation and Refunds

  • Right to Cancel:
    By initiating domain registration, you agree that service delivery begins immediately. As such, you waive your right to a cooling-off cancellation period under consumer contract regulations.
  • Prices:
    Our prices are listed on our website and emails with our customers. Prices are up-to-date as of June 2025.

    • Registration: £5
    • Renewal (yearly): £5
    • Transfer: Free
    • Update domain contact or NS records: Free

6. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.
